Apply for Financial Aid

Applying for financial aid involves a number of steps and may seem complicated at first. Our Financial Aid Checklist (below) provides step-by-step instructions to guide you through the process. It is very important that we have all the information requested on time in order to assess financial aid eligibility. Completed forms may be mailed, emailed ( or faxed to 207-288-4126.

In addition to the FAFSA (which is completed online), College of the Atlantic requires those applying for financial aid to submit an institutional application for financial aid (COA financial aid application, downloadable below). Depending on personal circumstances, some of the other forms below may also be required. All international applicants must submit the certification of finances form; see the international student section below for more information.
