Two-Dimensional Design II - AD164

Meets the following requirements: AD

This is an intermediate level course dealing with the problems and processes of the education of vision.  The course is structured around the critique and "how-to-look" sessions.  Considerable time is given to the development of technique using both individual and group assignments as a framework for visual problem solving.  Some areas covered include:  line, plane, edge, mass, scale, surface, value, color, composition, and subjective and objective qualities of the same visual experience. 

Level:  Intermediate.  Prerequisites:  Two-dimensional Design I or equivalent.  Class size: 20.  Offered every third year.  *AD*
