Seminar in Marine Ecology, Evolution, and Conservation - ES403

This seminar is an advanced class that involves reading recent books and journal articles on a variety of topics in marine ecology, the evolution of marine organisms, and marine conservation and policy. Students are required to attend seminars, lead discussions on the readings, and complete a variety of writing and presentation projects. The focus of the course will be recent books, although both the primary literature and review articles will also be used in this course.  All students are required to attend weekly seminars fall term; in addition, students must also attend either winter or spring term seminars. The single credit for the course can be taken any term the student is attending seminar.

Level:   Advanced.  Permission of instructors required.  Class Limit:  10     No lab fee.
