Seminar in Evolutionary Biology - ES392

This seminar is an advanced class that involves reading recent books and journal articles on a variety of topics in evolutionary biology, including behavioral ecology, life-history evolution, phylogenetics, and comparative evolutionary approaches.  Students are required to attend seminars, lead discussions on the readings, and complete a variety of writing projects.  The focus of the course will be recent books in evolutionary biology, although some reading may be supplemented by primary literature and review articles.  All students are required to attend weekly seminars fall term; in addition, students must also attend either winter or spring term seminars. The single credit for the course can be taken any term the student is attending seminar. 

Level: Advanced.  Permission of instructors required.  Limited to 10 students.
