Isabel Mancinelli
Charles Eliot Professor of Ecological Planning, Policy and Design

Isabel MancinelliIsabel Mancinelli received a B.S. in architecture from the Catholic University of America and a Master of Landscape Architecture at Harvard University, Graduate School of Design. She worked for the North Atlantic Regional Office of the National Park Service for ten years as a park planner and was team captain of the planning team for the General Management Plan for Acadia National Park. She has been a member of the faculty at College of the Atlantic since 1992. She and her students have worked extensively with local communities on their comprehensive plans and with the grass roots community planning group, Mount Desert Island Tomorrow.

 

 

Isabel currently holds the Charles Eliot chair in ecological planning, policy, and design
