Library Exhibits
Reduce, Reuse, Recycle - a renewable theme for a spring-time library lobby display! You will find a sampling of the materials we have available in the library about recycling and waste management. All items are available for check out.
 
In the library's Reading Room find a display of books which focus on the subjects of the classes offered this term!
 
Also have a look at the past years' commencement invitations and programs on display in the library lounge. Explore "the way we were."
 
Be sure to check out the books all about getting outside and enjoying nature in the Spring. And for you frog lovers, come by and see the display of books about our favorite amphibians, located at the Circulation desk.
 
Website News
Thorndike Library has recently added a database trial page on the website. The database trial now includes Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and Women Writers Online. Please go to the Thorndike Library's homepage and select Database Trials.
 
Did you know there are subject guides on the library website? Just click on "Subject Guides" under "Research Help" on the library's homepage. Or use this link -
Subject Guides. Currently we have guides in Art, Education, Chemistry, Business and Maine Resources, and more focus areas are in the making! The guides have suggestions from books to blogs about each subject.
