Literature and Writing Facilities and Resources

The college's Writing Center, which is staffed by trained peer tutors and directed by faculty member Anne Kozak, is open to all students.  We encourage students to come to the Center at any stage of the writing process. Tutors often brainstorm with students, help them narrow their thesis and develop an outline.  In subsequent sessions, tutors review drafts and make queries, much as an editor does, to help students refine their text and substantively revise.  Students using the Center appreciate the one-on-one attention and in evaluations have noted how helpful tutors are.
