FEBRUARY VACATION WEEK DISCOVERY FUN
February 18-22 at the Dorr Museum
 
Monday
10-noon Improvisation Workshop
      grades 6-12
2:30-3:15  Our Wet & Wild Neighbors
       an in-depth look at intertidal creatures
       grades 2 and up          Parents are welcome to join in the fun!
 
Tuesday
2-3:30. Primitive Fire Making
       learn techniques for starting fires. dress warmly as we will be outside
       (raindate: Friday, the 22nd)
       grades 5-12   parents are welcome
1-2:30. Zen Shorts & Pictograms
       grades 1-4
 
Wednesday
10-11 Circus Themed Storytime
       Preschoolers and their caregivers
2-3:30 Print Making with Found Objects
       grades 1-4
2:30-3:30 Poetry and Creative Writing
      Free-writing and other forms of inspiration will be used to create the beginnings of new poems.
      grades 6-8
 
Thursday
11-12  Theater Workshop
      exercises to explore character roles
      grades 7-12
 
Friday
11:15-12:15 Seaweed Art
       press different kinds of seaweed into fun art!
       grades 3-6
12:30-2. Zen Shorts & Pictograms
       grades 1-4
1-3 Improvisation Workshop
      grades 6-12
2:30-3:30 Fun with Camouflage
       learn about camouflage in nature and practice your skills at hiding
       Dress warmly, as we will be outside.
       grades 1-4        parents are welcome to join the fun.
