Rose Pruning Workshop
Karl Homes will provide tips and techniques
Farrand Gardens, lower terrace

College of the Atlantic is offering a rose pruning workshop in the lower terrace of the campus' Farrand Gardens on Saturday, May 10 from 10 a.m. until noon. The workshop, run by Karl Holmes, is co-sponsored by the Beatrix Farrand Society.

To get to the gardens, enter at the college's north entrance, and walk toward the ocean. The Farrand Gardens are between the college's Blair Dining Hall and the ocean. The workshop is free, but participants need to bring their own pruners and gloves. For more information, call 288-5015 ext. 251.
