George B. Dorr Museum of Natural History
Learn about the world around you and create lovely works for your home at College of the Atlantic's George B. Dorr Museum. On Saturday, Oct. 4, the museum will offer a leaf printing workshop from 1 to 4 p.m.
The workshop will begin with a trip around the college to survey the trees and shrubs on campus and collect some favorite leaves for the workshop. Back in the museum, attendees will use the leaves to make colorful prints reflecting the nature of autumn.
To print on cloth, bring your own plain t-shirts or fabric for napkins or tablecloths. The museum will provide paper, along with paints for both cloth and paper.
The three-hour workshop is open to families and individuals. Cost is $5; $2 for museum members. Please register in advance: 288-5395.
