College of the Atlantic welcomes applications from United World College students. We approach the admission process much as we approach learning: we focus on the individual strengths of the student, encourage creativity, and hope you will ask lots of questions. You may apply using either COA's application or the Common Application. COA's application can be found in our viewbook or on-line.

All applicants must submit a completed application form and a personal statement, as well as answers to all of the short answer questions (should you be using the Common Application, these short answer questions can be found on our Common Application Supplement) at least two teacher recommendations, an official transcript of all academic work, and a university counselor recommendation. In addition, if English is not your first language, please submit a TOEFL score, an SAT score, or a predicted score for Higher Level IB English.
