Formed in 1993 and continuing today,  S.E.A.'s common goal has been the development of a dedicated group of environmental and social activists for the purpose of direct action, outreach/networking, and education on environmental and social issues.

We are also working on making the COA campus "greener". We want to share ideas on recycling, disposable products, alternative energy sources, conservation and sustainability. We have already been working on public education and outreach on these issues.

At COA, many students are doing different types of environmental and social activism on their own. This coalition could be used as a resource for those individuals to build a larger coalition of people working on similar projects.

Our overall goals include promoting greater organization and social/environmental awareness at COA. As a group, we believe in direct action, and wish to instill motivation and concern within the student body. Student activists working alone have a great impact. Working together we can and will change the world.
