Anna teaches physics and engineering with a focus on project based, renewable energy courses.   She spent over 15 years in industry as an electrical engineer specializing in system design.  Her research is focused on smart-grid and community scale renewable energy. 

Anna has a B.S. from the University of Colorado in Electrical Engineering, an M.S. in Marine Bio-Resources and a PhD in Engineering in the Natural Sciences, both from the University of Maine.
