Getting here:

Getting to Maine is always an adventure. For me, it often involves a small plane where they ask you at the ticket counter how much you weight. The views are spectacular.

As an education studies student who is working towards certification I have the most amount of required classes on campus. However, I still have flexibility within the requirements. I try to take a balance of science, education and art classes.

I will be student teaching at the Baxter Academy for my internship.

Life on Mount Desert Island:

I love seeing how the town evolves throughout the seasons. Some days it feels like a busy city, other times you wonder if there are other people around.

Activities, traditions, celebrations:

I love community dinners, ACM, yoga on Tuesdays, eating in Sea Urchin and spontaneous dance parties.

Passions & motivations:

My main passion is education. I love going to schools that are always asking and implementing solutions to, “How can we be better for our students?”

Adventures yet to come:

I hope one day to create an innovative school around human ecology.

Best meal on campus:

TAB makes really good salmon.

COA might be the right college for you if...

You want to be the navigator of your own education in a great support system.

The best way to get to know your professors is through long talks, preferably in vans on the way to/from amazing adventures around or off the island.

Which came first, the chicken or the egg?

According to science the egg, but not from a chicken.
