About Osprey
MV Osprey is a specially designed research vessel that operates both as a floating classroom and a work boat. Built in 2012, Osprey is available as a private charter passenger vessel for educational, transport and private functions as well as a work boat for various marine operations and scientific research. She has an open transom, hydraulic line hauler and 2-ton crane, as well as a large aft deck for work operations and a spacious, heated cabin for foul weather.
Built in Surry, Maine the Wesmac 46’ is clearly the best in her class with praise from fishermen around the world for comfort and stability. From a simple bay cruise or whale watch, to the deployment and recovery of oceanographic sampling equipment, our services are available year-round.
