COA Granted $500K for Sustainability

Four Given Garden Club Awards

Each year, the Garden Club of America gives two field botany scholarships and two medicinal plant research scholarships to college students. The scholarships are based on a competitive national application. This year, all four came to students at COA. More >>

Franklin Jacoby Receives Goldwater

April 4, 2011
Franklin Jacoby has received a prestigious Goldwater Scholarship. The award is given annually based on academic merit to students planning careers in science or math. 1,095 applied, only 275 were awarded. Franklin is the only Maine recipient this year. More >>
