| Early Bird Walk Session helps visitors identify birds by sight and sound Saturday, May 3, 2008 - George B. Dorr Museum of Natural History Who's back? Can you see them? What do they sound like? College of the Atlantic's George B. Dorr Museum of Natural History
Gregory Smith, a second-year student at the college, will be leading the walk with COA student Taj Schottland. Smith, who hails from Queens, NY, worked with ornithological experts at the Bronx Zoo for four years. Since coming to COA, he's been doing a lot of walking around Acadia National Park to learn how the birds of Maine differ from those of New York and Long Island. Admission is $5 for adults, $2 for children and museum members. Bring binoculars if you have them. Pre-registration is appreciated, call 288-5395.
