All College of the Atlantic Summer Program participants are given a login and password that allows them to access college computers.
Computer locations: The COA computer lab is located in the lower level of Kaelber Hall and has a combination of 2 Macs and 9 PC's. It is open weekdays and evenings to participants for any homework, research, email, etc. The Thorndike library is located on the upper level of Kaelber Hall and has several public access computers that may be used for library research. It is open weekday afternoons and three nights a week during course sessions. There are also two public access computers in the Arts & Sciences lobby.
Wireless service: COA offers Summer Program participants wireless computer service. Wireless service will be available in all the dorms, the Thorndike Library, Kaelber Hall, Gates Center, and the Arts & Sciences Building. Wireless services are free of charge to all summer participants who pre-register their computer's hardware address at least one week prior to arriving on campus for their course or program. Participants who register upon arrival will be charged a $10 fee. If you would like wireless service while you are at COA, please complete the computer form and mail it in at least one week before arrival.
