In 1996, College of the Atlantic launched the Silver Anniversary Endowment Campaign to strengthen the college's financial capacity.  In 2001, COA successfully achieved its goal of $10 million in outright gifts and $10 million in planned gifts and bequests.  Today the endowment is valued at $18.4 million and provides critical support that enhances the quality and accessibility of a COA education.

Although COA has demonstrated significant growth and accomplishment, the need for a stronger foundation to ensure a sustainable future has become increasingly evident.  We invite you to learn more about the college's existing endowment funds and to consider how your support of the Campaign for Excellence and Sustainability will fortify the college for years to come.
