This tutorial combines my passion for opera with current student needs for a class that combines classical music history together with a desire to understand opera as an art form. I am offering it as a tutorial so that I can maintain better control of the direction of the class, and lieu of the fact that I might, perhaps, be asked to offer this again at some point (albeit not frequently).
