What has been your favorite class at COA? Why?
So hard to choose! I loved Experiential Education Bonnie Tai is INCREDIBLE. Also, Ceramics and Animation have both been wonderful; they are things I have always wanted to learn and I love working with my hands. Plus, Nancy and Ernie are superhumans.

What was your favorite discussion at COA? Why?
Working for Buildings and Grounds has given me lots of favorite discussions/lectures. Basically every time I go to work and interact with Bruce or Mary or Millard or any of the B&G guys and fellow workers, they all have stories to make you laugh and think.

What is your dream occupation?
I thought I knew that once... but now I have no idea. I'm not worried though. I feel like I'm learning skills that will be useful anywhere.

Do you work on or off campus? If yes, where?

What do you see yourself doing after COA?
I want to travel abroad for a year, maybe teach English as a Foreign Language or something. Then I'd like to go to art school. After that, I'm not sure.

What country or state would you like to visit?
Everywhere! But I'd especially love to see Ireland.

Where would you love to live?
Somewhere temperate. I like seasons.

What is happiness to you?
Dogs and cartoons, preferably in combination. Also sunshine, thunderstorms, food, art, making art, books, the water, singing...

Have you had an internship? 
I did one one this summer at the Haystack School of Crafts on Deer Isle, ME.

What are your ideas for your senior project?
It's a secret.....

Where are you from?
South Sutton, NH

What are your favorite colors?
I really like colors in combination. Purple and green are nice together. Or blue and brown.

What are your favorite flowers?
Poppies. And starflowers. And false anemone.

What are your favorite animals?
I like small weird things that look kind of grumpy, like my dog and chameleons.

What came first, the chicken or the egg?
What kind of chicken?

What is the motto you like to live by?
"Judge not, lest ye be judged."

Why did you choose to come to COA?
I wanted to be able to explore multiple interests and integrate them. The small size and large proportion of international students also attracted me, as well as the location.

What do you like to study?
I love languages and literature, though it's not my academic focus.

Where do you like to study?
Somewhere quiet with sunlight.

Who are your favorite writers and poets?
Haruki Murakami, Terry Pratchett, Billy Collins, Bill Watterson, Roald Dahl, Patrick Ness.

Who are your favorite artists and musicians?
Max Ernst, Toriyama Sekien, Bahram Alivandi; Florence + the Machine, Of Monsters and Men, Janelle Monae, Bat For Lashes, Uman, Little Dragon, Fleetwood Mac, Linda Ronstadt, Alison Krauss, Rasputina, Ladytron.

Who is your favorite fictional hero?
Mina Harker, from Dracula.

What historical figure do you most admire?
Joan of Arc.

Who is your hero today?
All of B&G.

What do you value most in your friends?
Loyalty, a sense of humor, flexibility.

What do people say is your most marked characteristic?

What talent do you wish you had?
I wish I could fix or build anything...like my dad.

What is your least favorite spice?
Mint. Any kind.
