What has been your favorite class at COA? Why?
I loved Ornithology, going out in nature every day and learning & identifying different birds & their calls, habitats. I also really enjoyed The Philosophy of Yoga and World Percussion... Such great classes!

What was your favorite project at COA? Why?
I enjoyed working on my Senior Project. I collected herbs, made massage oils and salves from them. I then created clay vessels for my products, as well as basic cook and dish ware. I had help from wonderful teachers, mentors, and friends.

What is your dream occupation?
Something that involves healing and art.

Do you work on or off campus? If yes, where?
I did work study in the kitchen and occasionally worked at Cadillac Mountain Sports in town.

What do you see yourself doing after COA?
More schooling... and increasingly listening to and enjoying whatever life offers.

What country or state would you like to visit?
New Zealand

Where would you love to live?
In a simple house with a quiet oceanside and a little farm.

What is happiness to you?
Being present, free, and loving.

Have you had an internship? 
Yes. I interned at an Ayurvedic Health Center in Bellingham, WA. I learned about Indian medicine, helped give consultations and teach yoga.

What is one of your favorite childhood memories?
Ohhh, so many! Dressing up and having tea parties, playing in my tree house, horseback riding.

What is your favorite food to eat? What is your favorite thing to cook?
I love garden veggies... especially freshly pulled carrots in a fancy soup or stir fry.

What do you like to do when you're not doing school work?
Ceramics, read, walk, swim, x-country skii, play cribbage...

What are your favorite colors?
Emerald green, cobalt blue

What are your favorite flowers?
Lilacs, lupins, maine roses

What are your favorite animals?
Horses

What came first, the chicken or the egg?
Eggs

Why did you choose to come to COA?
It gave me the chance to take good science courses in a small setting so I could get the help I needed w/them. Also after traveling and going to another school, it was nice to be close to home again. And to top it off, COA  let me combine and concentrate on different passions.

What do you like to study?
Art! Music! Anatomy! Flowers!

Wherever home is, in quietness
