Brooklyn Baron is a COA student from Silver City, New Mexico. She will graduating in June and has been working on her senior research project, a work of fiction.

She explains,   “For my senior project, I am writing a novella that deals with – among other things – ideas of place, travel, identity, ecology, and fig wasps. It’s been inspired both by my own travels around this country and by stories I’ve collected from other people, and pays a sort of homage to the places with which we interact and build relationships. My final product will be an edited manuscript, and I am planning to have a coffeehouse-style reading toward the end of the spring term.”
