For prospective students:
For applicants:
  • To inquire about submitting a late application, please contact a member of our admission staff
  • Many colleges have announced their plans to no longer require standardized test scores for 2021 applicants. COA has always been “test optional,” so standardized test scores (SAT or ACT) are never required of our applicants.
  • If you’re unable to get a transcript from a prior school due to COVID-19 related closures, let us know—we will work with you.
For admitted/incoming students:
  • COA is planning for an on-campus, in-person term in fall 2020. We are also planning simultaneously for hybrid online options for those students who are unable to be on campus for various reasons related to COVID-19. Our most up-to-date news on the college’s plans can be found on the COVID-19 Response section of our website.
  • Our enrollment and deposit deadline has been extended to June 1, 2020, to allow more time and flexibility for admitted students to explore their options and make plans. Submit the reply form, and your deposit, through your applicant portal.
  • Deferrals: admitted students may defer their enrollment for up to one year, allowing them to start in winter, spring, or fall 2021. The deadline for deferrals is June 15. Should the college be required to switch to an online learning platform for fall 2020 prior to the start of the term, the deferral deadline will be extended for one week beyond the date of the announcement. All new enrolled students will be notified of such a change.
