A new land use technique is blending energy and agriculture to power some Minnesota homes. Nokomis Energy has dozens of renewable energy projects about eighty miles south of Minneapolis, and one such program involves sheep. 

Nestled in a quiet patch of unproductive farmland in Waseca, Arlo Cristofaro-Hark grazes his sheep to help restore a native prairie habitat underneath solar panels.
