Getting here:
I, unlike most, grew up on Mount Desert Island, so I was always familiar with the school. Although I did not anticipate studying at College of the Atlantic, I could not be more thrilled with my decision; being a COA student is a very distinct, unique, and special chapter of my time on MDI.

Favorite class:
Physics and Mathematics of Sustainable Energy gave me such important ways of quantifying, communicating, and thinking about renewable energy in a clear manner. As an extremely practical course, it challenges one to think, and hopefully act, on one of our planet’s most dire conditions—climate change.
Life on Mount Desert Island:
Living in and around a national park is nothing short of stunning. With the hills spotted with pink granite and the streams teeming with brook trout, what more could one desire?
