Senior project:

I made Ayurvedic massage oils infused with local herbs and created sets of pottery. They included dinnerware - plates, bowls, mugs, as well as wellness pieces - honey pots, tea pots, and oil bottles. Both were designed with the intention that people be inspired to take care of and nourish their bodies.

A COA experience that was particularly significant or memorable:

My favorite classes were ornithology and botany - I really enjoyed being able to study and learn
from being outside. I also loved having access to the pottery studio to practice and create at
any time.

Considerations for prospective students:

My studies at COA inspired me to be more aware of my environment and my relationship to
it. They also helped me hone in on the skills I am now offering. Although I had to get more
training to be where I am now, and I am forever learning, my senior project holds the
foundation of what I’m currently doing in my career as a massage therapist, Ayurvedic
Practitioner, and ceramic artist.
