COA is a place to explore your interests and I am doing just that! At the moment, my focus is on Marine Mammal classes but also take classes from community development to sexual health.
Favorite class:
My independent study! Another student and I are creating a community development project on MDI that focuses on empowering vulnerable, young adults in a work environment. Through a one-on-one mentorship programme, participants will engage in year-long paid work experience with the support of the MDI community.
Life on Mount Desert Island:
Stop for a second, take a moment and look around you. Everywhere on the island is beautiful!
