Description
I am a fourth-year at COA originally from Alameda island in California. My academic focus at COA is mostly in creative nonfiction writing, and also somewhat in analytical and science writing. Some of my favorite courses at COA have been Arielle Greenburg’s Creative Nonfiction courses, and Helen Hess’ Invertebrate Zoology and Biomechanics courses. My other interests include camping, scuba diving, cooking, horror movies and short-stories, and B-movies of all types. In my own writing and in my role as a tutor I enjoy working on the puzzle of how to phrase and structure writing, and I love the feeling of discovery in figuring out what to write and how.
