I am a third-year student originally from Lynnfield, Massachusetts (in the suburbs of Boston). I use she/her pronouns. I was led to COA by an interest in politics, environmental law and policy, and writing, but also by the knowledge that I would never want to study only those things. In my time here, I have also had the chance to feed my passions for poetry, theater, history, and ecology. Some of my favorite classes that I have taken include Poetry as Art and Social Action, Environmentality, and Environmental Law and Policy. Outside of class, I like to play guitar and sing, read plays with my friends, ice skate, watch the West Wing, and obsess over electoral politics. As a writing tutor, I love helping others to find that moment when you finally crack open a puzzling piece of writing and figure out exactly how to express what you want to say.
