Internship:

I hope for my internship I’ll do something with bears (or primates), the LEGO company, medical services, a national legislator’s office, or the National Park Service!

Life on Mount Desert Island:

Wild, amazing, crazy cool!

There is always something to do or new things to find through exploration.

Scavenging the inter tidal-zone is one of the most fun things MDI has to offer and I also love having the sunrise (and the sound of the ocean) wake me up every morning :)

Passions & motivations:

Mountains, clouds, bears, stories

Adventures yet to come:

Going to McNeil River Sanctuary for Grizzly season, climbing more mountains, seeing Everest and K2 in-person, training a falcon, owning a farm, reading all the books on my ‘to-read’ list, being on Survivor, designing better ‘green’ buildings, figuring out how to operate a 360-degree camera, heading back to Namibia, having a pet dog, learning more languages, designing a LEGO set that is produced commercially, watching Paddington 3 when it finally comes out, learning the cello, eating at Tickets and Noma, traveling the world, making the world a better place, and so much more!

COA might be the right college for you if...

You have many different interests and can’t fit into one box!

Ephemera:

“Mountains are not stadiums where I satisfy my ambition to achieve, they are the cathedrals where I practice my religion.”
