Getting here:

Took a while! I started in Boston, took a little jaunt to sail 2200 nautical miles in the South Pacific and somehow ended up here! I seriously could not be happier.

Classes

These are some of my favorite courses I have taken so far. Each one has shaped my time at COA in unique and amazing ways, whether that was connecting me with new people, helping me figure out where I want to go in my career, or figuring out passions that I want to pursue further.

Ecology

Conversational Spanish

Samba Percussion Ensemble

Understanding and Managing Group Dynamics

Curiosity and Wonder: Design and Interpretation in the Museum

Public Speaking Workshop

Internship:

Activities, traditions, celebrations:

COAmmunity dinner is a lovely time where students come together every Sunday night to cook and eat as a community! There’s music and laughter and of course good food!

I also love all the live music around campus! I am eternally grateful for all the hard work that gets put into the open mics and concerts that happen here and you will find me singing (and dancing, where applicable) at every single one. Imagine a cartoon character floating, following the smell of fresh pie. That’s what happens to many COA students when we hear live music.

Best meal on campus:

Grilled cheese and tomato soup!! Especially in winter! I feel very strongly about this.

COA might be the right college for you if...

You are open to accepting any opportunity that comes your way! I came here because I saw how my friends from COA were thriving and felt that I was missing out on similar experiences. My life has changed drastically over the past year, largely because of the incredible opportunities I’ve had here. I’ve found that the more you open your mind to new opportunities, the more your horizons will expand in ways you never thought possible!
