What has been your favorite class at COA? Why?
Problems in Painting. It taught me a lot about commitment, and determination because I spent 10 weeks crafting one thing and I’ve never spent so much time on a painting. It showed me that I could accomplish anything I put my mind to. It’s important to know that it just takes time and hard work.

What was your favorite lesson/lecture at COA? Why?
My favorite lecture/lesson was probably in my Human Ecology of Newfoundland course when Sean Todd was talking about oceanography and water ecosystems. Being concentrated in art and writing, it gave me a whole new perspective and sense of place. It gave so many new ideas to think about.

What is your dream occupation?
An artist, a writer and a photographer. Some combination of the three would be great. It would be nice if I could do fashion editorials once in a while but paint and write poetry most of the time.

Do you work on or off campus?
I work on campus. Right now I’m a TA for the Intro to Photography Class.

France, India, California and Oregon. I hope to travel as much as I can.

There are three places. Living in a brownstone in New York City, living in Paris in the Montmartre, or living in Provence, France on a lavender farm.

What is happiness to you?
Being content and thankful for the things I have. Along with appreciating every simple moment.

Have you had an internship? If so, doing what? Where? If not, what are your plans, if any, for your internship?
Nope, I haven’t yet, but I’m working on it! I’m hoping to intern with an artist or work at a magazine such as Interview in their photography department.

What are your ideas for your senior project? If you have already done one, what did you do?
I’ve got a lot of ideas, too many to list but I know it will have something to do with art!

What is one of your favorite childhood memories?
When I would spend my summers underneath raspberry bushes and eating them to my heart’s content.
