A delegation of students from COA’s Earth in Brackets traveled to Lima, Peru for two intense weeks of international climate negotiations at the 20th Conference of the Parties under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change. They engaged with both international policy as well as climate justice activism and they feel it is essential to share and communicate their experiences with the wider and supportive COA community.

In addition to this, in December 2015, a new international legal agreement will be decided on at the next COP in Paris – an agreement that will immensely effect the way we will deal, or rather won’t deal, with climate change. This talk is to address what happened at the climate change conference in Lima, what needs to be done on the road to the Paris agreement and the climate justice movement and beyond.
