Students at College of the Atlantic have the opportunity to create their own start up companies right in the classroom.

With the help of a 1.5 million dollar grant from the Diana Davis Spencer Foundation, College of the Atlantic Students are taking their innovative ideas to a new level.

“We’re bringing these students in with a diverse sense of interests”, said Jay Friedlander, Chair of Green and Socially Responsible Business. “Some are doing small businesses others are doing ones that could be huge and scale up but they are all here, they are working together and learning the fundamentals of what it takes to start a company”.
