Thorndike Library
Our Director of A/V Services, Zach Soares, provides classroom technology support as well as on campus event support (with 2 weeks notice).
The library circulates a wide range of A/V equipment: some specifically for classes and some for any library patron.
To book A/V support for an event on campus, please fill out the event support request form.
Spaces
Most classroom are equipped with a TV or projector with HDMI inputs. Some classrooms have VHS/DVD players and the library has some DVD players available for checkout.
The Thomas S. Gates, Jr. Community Center is regularly used for classes, lectures, performances, and large meetings. It has a stage with a piano, podium, ample seating on the main floor and balcony, a lighting and sound booth, and a digital projector with a screen.
The equipment in the Gates Community Center sound booth can only be used by the Director of AV Services and their trained work-study students.
