Academics

College of the Atlantic

COA provides numerous opportunities for off-campus study, both in the US and abroad. Partner institutions extend our academic and geographic reach.

Explore New Places, Expand Your Learning

COA provides multiple opportunities for study abroad.  We run several programs ourselves including our annual winter term in Yucatán, Mexico, and our regularly offered spring term in France. Students also regularly take part in international programs offered by other colleges and organizations.

There are also many opportunities for students to study and travel in the US. COA provides each student with their own fund for expeditionary learning, providing up to $1800 in financial support for off-campus study.
