24-Hour Plays

A spectacular evening of creativity and connection.

Every term, a group of students gather to write, direct, make sets and costumes for, and act in a short play or series of skits in only 24 hours. The writers gather on Friday night and complete the scripts. Then, early the next morning, the directors, designers, and actors gather to rehearse the show. That night, the work is performed for the community.

The 24-Hour Plays, put on once a term at COA for years, have become an unofficial tradition to ward off stress and bring in comedy and community. Sign up to participate or just attend and enjoy.
