Fall:

  • Convocation and Bar Island Swim 
    We kickoff each year with a community gathering and a chilly (optional!) dip in the Atlantic.
  • Family Weekend and Community Show
    In October we welcome family members to campus, and show off our talents at the popular Community Show.

Winter:

  • Weekly Fireside Fridays 
    Curl up in Deering Common with knitting or course reading, and enjoy cookies and coffee by the fire.
  • Aurora Ballealis 
    Students dress up in their creative formal attire and dance the night away to live music.

Spring:

  • Weekly Springtime Teatime 
    Warmer weather calls for Friday cookies and tea in Deering Common.
  • Earth Day 
    Join us for informative workshops and tasty treats.
  • Fandango 
    A talent show which serves as a fundraiser for an international humanitarian organization.
  • Commencement
    We send off every graduate with a diploma and a flower.

    Celebrate with alumnx from throughout COA’s 50 years.
