How to adopt

  • Complete the online adoption form
  • Select your preferred whale and packet
  • Enter recipient details (optional, for gifts)
  • Choose automatic annual renewal if you wish
  • Submit payment securely online

Your adoption is tax-deductible and can be made anonymously.

What you receive

Each Adopt-a-Whale packet includes:

  • A certificate of adoption with your (or your gift recipient’s) name, plus the whale’s biography, photos, and sighting history
  • North Atlantic Whale Watch Guide with information and illustrations about marine mammals, birds, and turtles
  • Understanding Whales: Research, Conservation, and Education booklet by Bob Bowman
  • An official COA Allied Whale sticker
