Thorndike Library

Research is a systematic investigation of a particular topic or phenomenon with the purpose of generating new knowledge, building on the existing scholarly work, and to solve problems that we face. Librarians are available to work with individuals, groups, and classes to support research projects and efforts.

Find a journal – search for specific academic journals, magazines, and newspapers in our collections

Databases – view listing of databases to support coursework and research projects across the college’s disciplines

Research guides – librarian curated subject guides to help students fin and access materials to support coursework

Research & writing help guide – a collaboration between library and the writing center to help students at all points of the research and writing process

Interlibrary loan (ILL) – a service that allows students to request materials that are not available in our library
